Joey Kern
Joey Kern earned a BFA in Drama at New York University and trained at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. He has appeared in such cult films as Cabin Fever and Super Troopers, as well as on such shows as Sex & the City and Workaholics.
Kat Foster
Kat Foster is an actor and filmmaker who was recently seen on the TBS series Your Family or Mine. She has also appeared on the shows ‘Til Death, Weeds, Franklin & Bash, and Bad Teacher. Her film The Dramatics: A Comedy, which she starred, co-wrote and co-directed, is now available.
Byron Brown
Byron Brown is an Austin-based comedic actor whose improvisational group Bad Boys performs weekly at Coldtowne Theatre. In addition to being a prolific commercial actor, his film credits include the indie comedy Balls Out, which premiered at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival.
Ashley Spillers
Ashley Spillers’ diverse indie credits include Saturday Morning Massacre, Loves Her Gun, and Arlo & Julie, as well as appearances in such studio films as Last Vegas. She was recently cast as a series regular on HBO’s Vice Principals.
Betsy Phillips
Betsy Phillips has appeared in a number of commercials and short films, in addition to appearing in the features Bounce Past and The Love Inside.

Andy Irvine – Director/Writer/Producer/Editor
Andy Irvine is a graduate of New York University, where he received his BFA in Film
Production. He has directed several short films, including Hearts of Napalm, as well as the feature documentary Face of a Woman. His movies have played throughout the world, including Slamdance, The Dallas International Film Festival, and The Documentary Fortnight at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. His short +/-, made in collaboration with Mark Smoot, premiered at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival. Their first narrative feature, The Love Inside, received an Austin Film Society Grant and was accepted into Austin Film Society's Artist Intensive Workshop. The film premiered at the 2015 Dallas International Film Festival, where it received a Special Jury Prize for Ensemble Performance.
Mark Smoot – Director/Writer/Producer/Editor
Mark Smoot has an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Fellow at The Michener Center for Writers. His short +/-, made in collaboration with Andy Irvine, premiered at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival. Their first narrative feature The Love Inside received an Austin Film Society Grant and was accepted into The Austin Film Society's Artist Intensive Workshop. The film premiered at the 2015 Dallas International Film Festival, where it received a Special Jury Prize for Ensemble Performance.
Taylor Michelle Thompson – Producer
Taylor Michelle Thompson is an Austin-based filmmaker, specializing in producing and editing. She has worked on multiple films that have played such festivals as Sundance, Slamdance, and SXSW. The Love Inside is her first feature to produce. She is currently in post-production on the 3D science fiction short, Hard Reset, in which she served as both producer and editor.
Deepak Chetty – Cinematographer
Deepak Chetty is an Austin-based filmmaker, cinematographer, virtual reality producer and VFX specialist. As a cinematographer, his work has been featured at such festivals as SXSW, Slamdance, AFI Silverdocs, and The Dallas International Film Festival.
Brent Sluder– Composer
Brent Sluder is an Austin-based musician who, in addition to performing and recording under the name Field Dress, has composed music for several short films, including EASY and +/-, and the feature The Love Inside.
